Hope is an active community of faith and a church in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Transformed by God’s love, we seek to share that same love with the world – proclaiming a God who is very much present, working in the world for change.
The congregation traces its origin to 1965 when organizational work was begun by the American Lutheran Church. First services were held at James Ryder Randall School on Kirby Road until the current worship center was completed in December 1965. In a variety of ways we have sought to be God’s loving presence in a hurting world.
